The Frames collection shows single framed fly’s and plates that are available to purchase. If you look closely at the photos you will notice that some of the frames are repurposed. I peruse thrift shops and bargain stores for interesting frames and other items to use in my work. Each frame is selected to house and be the canvas for my hand tied flies. Other frames have been purchased new or I have built them because the fly or collection of flies told me how it/they wanted to be dressed. Each framed work is one-of-a-kind and though I may complete piece that has a similar motif, no two will ever be alike.
